And the speech was...

Typical Obama rhetoric.

I did like how he is trying to inspire Americans to quit whining and get off their ass. I hope it does change the attitude from 'I deserve' to 'I can do it'. I hope it gives motivation and inspiration to the lower classes to get up and make their country a better place. Listening to the interviews with people on the street you get this sense that they are inspired which really is a good thing in this economic time.

the rich people don't matter in politics b/c there is less of them.

Reuben, Reuben, Reuben...Where do you think Presidential candidates get most of their donations from? Rich people, not the common folk. So it is the rich people who determine who is a candidate in the first place, because it is the person with the biggest war-chest that wins. Cynical, but real.
